Abstract: |
The results of the watching brief will infoprm the SMR. The works were situated within the Hadrian's Wall corridor. Trench 1 contained tentative evidence ofa large cut feature of uncertain provencance. There was no traince of the feature within the adjacent trench 2b there it is unlikely to represent the Wall ditch. A north-south oreientated wall likely to date from the 19th century was recorded within trench 2a. [Au(abr)] |
