Abstract: |
Groundworks on the northern half of the soakaway revealed no archaeological features or finds. It seemed probable that the ground had been disturbed by modern landscaping and clearance work in advance of the construction of the school. A ditch of probable late Bronze Age/Early Iron Age date was recorded in the southern portion of the soakaway. No further archaeological features were recorded and no trace of the continuing line of the possible trackway was found.[Au(abr)] |
