Abstract: |
Excavations prior to development of the site for housing revealed several phases of activity. The majority of the features were tentatively dated to the late Iron Age and early Roman periods but with in addition, a Saxon sunken featured building and a single medieval pit. Small collections of pottery, animal bone and charred plant remains were recorded. [Au(adp)] |
