Abstract: |
Archaeological observation of groundworks associated with a new office development on the edge of the medieval borough, recorded the remains of a recent, large pit. This may have been the remains of a cellar associated with the 20th century iron works which had recently occupied the site. The pit had destroyed any earlier archaeological remains. [Au(abr)] |
