Abstract: |
During the watching brief at Devil's Dyke Iron Age hillfort enclosure none of the four trenches revealed any significant archaeological deposits. A Victorian pottery sherd and one piece of Victorian glass were recovered. These were thought to be residual rubbish associated with the Victorian fairground. No further information regarding the Iron Age occupation/usage of the hillfort was gained. [Au(abr)] |
