Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was carried out. No features associated with the fort or the Vicus settlement were disturbed or exposed during the works. One Roman pottery sherd and one tile fragment, also Roman were discovered. Pre-modern deposits were identified in a number of trenches. The identification of these deposits represented a useful contribution to the understanding of the topography of the setting of the fort. [Au(abr)] |
