Abstract: |
The site was in an area know to have high archaeological potential. Both medieval and post-medieval sources indicated that the site directly adjacent to the current Arwenack Manor (Grade II* Listed) was within the curtailment of the previous manor house, which had been in existence since at least the medieval period.
