Abstract: |
The earliest deposit exposed during the watching brief was a mid-brown sandy silt which contained occasional fragments of broken grave stones. Immediately above this were the grit stone slabs of the existing path. The most notable feature of the slabs used for the path was that four of them were re-used gravestones. [Au(abr)] |
