Abstract: |
The evaluation was carried out in advance of the determination of a planning application for an extension to the school buildings. The evaluation established that the area of the proposed extension was within the outer bailey of the motte and bailey defences, in an area unaffected by the banks and ditches. The evaluation had also established the presence of a wall, which was interpreted as the north wall of the former schoolhouse. [Au] |
