Abstract: |
The limited archaeological investigations that had taken place indicated good preservation of artefacts and environmental remains. The area around St. Andrew's Church was an area of particular interest. Owing to the potential for surviving archaeological remains it was anticipated that a programme of archaeological evaluation, building recording and monitoring would be required as a planning condition.
