Abstract: |
The works, including the insertion of an oil supply pipe, the connection of an island unit in the kitchen to existing foul water pipe, connection of a new lavatory to existing foul water pipe, and excavation for a new foundation in the utility room, within and without the south-west quarter of the castle (SAM consent) revealed two small sections of wall footings, neither of which could be related to the present castle layout, but must have belong to an earlier, though undated, phase.
