Abstract: |
A watching brief was maintained during the excavation of small network of foundation and service trenches on a site on the northern side of the junction of Langworthgate and Greetwellgate. The remains of a possible limestone surface and limestone wall were revealed. Whilst no dating evidence was recovered from either feature, the wall probably represented the remains of part of a low stone wall of probable Victorian origin. [AIP] |
