Abstract:		 The investigations comprised the machine-excavation of five trenches on the exiting Damers First School site and eight trenches on a proposed site immediately west of Poundbury Cemetery. No evidence for any archaeological activity was encountered on the Damers First School site, whilst the Poundbury site did reveal limited archaeological activity much of which corresponded with the geophysical anomalies. Little additional activity was present within any of the trenches. [Au(abr)]
