Abstract: |
Four trial trenches were excavated as an archaeological evaluation of the site. Thin surviving medieval layers at the rear of the plot were possibly derived from dumping. Unabraded pottery sherds from these layers dated to the High Medieval period. Substantial cellaring was recorded close to the High Street. [Au(adp)] |
