Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken within an area associated with early Jewish activity. Within the site no archaeological features were found earlier than the late 18th or early 19th century. A well was located on the boundary between two properties which could not be dated although the method of construction in unmortared, dressed Brandon Hill Grit suggested a medieval date. [AIP] |
