Abstract: |
An archaeological assessment was carried out on the proposed development site. A Bronze Age barrow or 13th century gallows was identified in the south western area of the site. A barrow cemetery is located close to the site and a medieval warren. A Roman villa may also exist close to the site. The site though was identified as being heathland and has little archaeological potential. [Au(abr)] |
