Abstract: |
The following report summarises the results of an archaeological watching brief undertaken at the bus depot site at Howie Street in Battersea, London Borough of Wandsworth. The watching brief revealed that post-medieval ground make-up deposits are present on the site. These deposits were probably part of the 17-18th century land reclamation dumps of the south side of the Thames [Au] |
