Abstract:
The assessment drew together evidence from documentary research and a pre-determination archaeological evaluation to determine the potential for archaeological remains on site. Documentary sources indicated a general background potential for archaeology for the site and this was confirmed by the field evaluation that revealed a limited number of re-deposited flints within the plough soil but no evidence of archaeological activity. The evaluation concluded that no further archaeological work was necessary on site. [Au(abr)]
