Abstract: |
During the geophysical survey, geomagnetic anomalies in the paddock were found to be exceptionally weak, while those on the lawn were dominated by geophysical effects of the building and contents. Nevertheless, evidence was presented for the presence of linear stretches of wall footing beneath the lawn and for possible ditches beneath the paddock. The geophysicval survey, however, failed to trace the extent of medieval ridge and furrow in the paddock or to provide conclusive evidence for the extent and location of the circular wall footings that were exposed in this field.[Au(abr)] |
