Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out at the proposed site of a residential development, which lay adjacent to the course of a Roman road. Roman coins, pottery and other remains had been recorded nearby. During the evaluation, no archaeological deposits were observed, although medieval pottery and post-medieval pottery, brick and tile were recovered. It was concluded that the site had no archaeological potential. [AIP] |
