During the course of the evaluation a previously unknown ovoid enclosure of Late Bronze Age/Early Iron Age date, measuring two-thirds of a hectare in area, was identified. A number of probable pits containing flint tempered pottery were located within the enclosure, and several features of similar date were identified outside it. [Au(abr)] |
