Abstract:		 A desk-based assessment was carried out in advance of a proposed residential development. The concentration of previously recorded archaeology in the general area of the site was fairly moderate. The site location suggested that the potential for identifying archaeological evidence was fairly good. Most of the development area was likely to have escaped development to an extent where potential archaeological remains could have survived. Further trial trenching was recommended. [Au(adp)]
