Abstract: |
Archaeological evaluation of Phases Six and Seven at Brisley Farm (Chartfields), consisted of 29 trenches, 23 revealed archaeological remains. These remains seem to have been prehistoric in origin (some dated to the Late Bronze Age in Phase Seven) mostly being gullies, but pits, post holes and stake holes were also present. These remains may have been associated with a large prehistoric settlement excavated during Phases Three and Four of the development. [Au(abr)] |
