Abstract: |
Monitoring of a small housing development revealed five small pits probably dating to the Saxon and medieval periods and an undated ditch. The western half (fen edge side) of the site had peat deposits over channel bed sands in which were seen natural hollows and channels all of which probably indicated previous river courses.
