Abstract: |
The excavation was undertaken in advance of a proposed housing development. The features uncovered during the investigation revealed that the site was in use from mid 12th century to the second half of the 14th century. Pits and the remains of buildings supported this view. By the 17th century the site had become gardens for a large house. [Au(adp)] |
