Abstract: |
The desk based assessment was undertaken in response to proposals to demoilsh part of the hosptial buildings within the rounds of Hanham Hall, which anciently lay in the manor of West Hannam (Hanham) which was first recorded in 1325. The study showed that few of Hanham Hall's 17th and 18th century features remained due to successive 'improvements' during the 1970s and 80s. Further examination of the buildings was recommended in order to record any hidden architectural features. [AIP] |
