Abstract: |
The evaluation was carried out in advance of a residential development. A previous geophysical survey had revealed areas of potential. Many of these anomalies were not located and probably indicated geological fluctuations. However, ditches, post holes and linear gullies were noted, as well as the remnants of medieval ridge and furrow. Finds indicated that the site had been manured in the medieval and post-medieval periods. [Au(adp)] |
