Abstract: |
An archaeological assessment was undertaken to determine whether any known archaeological remains would be affected by the proposed pipeline laying. It was seen that there was the potential for damage to archaeological features of the prehistoric, Romano-British and medieval periods. It was proposed that the best strategy for mitigation would be a watching brief to be conducted during the excavation of the pipe trench. [AIP] |
