Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out as part of the work involved in a restaurant conversion, at a site which lay close to Reigate Castle and medieval Reigate. No evidence of archaeological remains was revealed, and no artefacts were found. Recent made ground was encountered, and it was noted that any ancient activity at the level of the proposed works would have been destroyed by this. [AIP] |
