Abstract: |
The building survey revealed that Swan House was a typical late 18th early 19th century building, although a number of features did support the Royal Commission inspector's thesis that the building had a 17th century origin. The watching brief only revealed one feature of possible medieval origin, a wooden beam found in situ was recorded during the observation of groundworks. [Au(abr)] |
