Abstract: |
A watching brief was undertaken on the excavation of two areas as part of the renovation of the property. Many Roman burials have been found in the area. The foundations of the property were found to have destroyed all the archaeological evidence in their general proximity. It was suggested that further work would merit archaeological investigation due to the strategic position of the property in relation to Roman remains. [Au(abr)] |
