Abstract: |
Evaluation trenching was carried out in advance of the extension to a china clay tip. Eighteen trenches were placed in four of five areas previously subjected to a geophysical survey. Positive results were obtained, including the locating of a series of well-preserved prehistoric and medieval landscapes, of a settlement and/or ritual nature. [Au(abr)] |
