Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out in advance of a proposed development. The evaluation recorded three features, an undated, backfilled quarry, a possible palaeochannel and a truncated Early Bronze Age pit. The pit contained two sherds of Beaker pottery, dating to c.2200-2000BC and as such is a locally important discovery which may have been associated with other activity from the period. [Au(adp)] |
