Abstract: |
The site contained a terrace of buildings extending northwards from the extant Cleveland House the had been removed in 1915. The modern ground surface contains a number of earthworks that may represent the remains of the 19th century buildings. Three trenches were initially excavated to reveal a beam slot, a drain pipe, a boundary ditch and building remains. [Au(adp)] |
