Abstract: |
Five trenches were excavated, to investigate a 4% sample of the site. These encountered modern demolition material and evidence of the foundations of earlier buildings, as well as evidence that the site had been substantially affected by recent earth moving, and by the removal of a number of trees. There were no significant archaeological deposits on the site, other than two possible post holes identified as post-medieval. [Au(abr)] |
