Abstract: |
The excavation of two trial trenches and a watching brief on the excavation of foundation trenches for the theatre extension was undertaken in advance of the development of a multipurpose hall, theatre extension, and related works. No finds of archaeological interest were made from the site, and neither were any features of archaeological significance identified. If any material of archaeological interest had existed it had probably been removed or disturbed by previous activities within the area. [Au(adp)] |
