Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report Abstract:	The evaluation was undertaken prior to the proposed residential and commercial redevelopment of the site. Modern overburden of building foundations and demolition deposits directly overlay the natural gravels and clay, indicating that earlier deposits had been truncated. A 1787 silver shilling of George III was recovered from the modern deposits in Trench 1. In Trench 2 a shallow, undated, curvilinear ditch was recorded. Towards the southern end of Trench 3 an undated linear ditch, orientated NW/SE was recorded. No other archaeological features or finds were revealed. [Au]
