Abstract: |
Evaluation on the site of a proposed school revealed the rubble remains of a field boundary sealing a deposit containing an iron nail, glass fragments, mudstone and modern field-drain ceramic sherds; a posthole containing the rim of a recent earthenware flowerpot; and a pit containing a few body sherds of glazed earthenware from storage jars and pancheons of late post-medieval date.
