Abstract:
Archaeological monitoring was made of a hand dug pit excavated to assess and remedy the sudden subsidence of a lean-to in the courtyard. A clinker path with a cobble edge adjacent to what was probably a well was exposed. In the north facing section, the angle of two walls were exposed, these extended beyond the limits of the investigation. These features were all probably associated with buildings demolished in the 1890s. [Au(adp)]
