Abstract:		 A survey of part of the medieval settlement remains at North Cockerington was undertaken prior to and during levelling of the earthworks. Areas already destroyed were plotted from air photographs of the site. Pottery obtained from the field after ploughing ranged from late Saxon to early 18th century in date. It was not possible to ascribe a date to specific areas of settlement. [Au]
