Abstract: |
Five 5 metre long trial trenches were excavated over the site of the proposed development of the site. Traces of two post-medieval features were observed: a pit containing traces of burning, and a 19th century ?ditch. An abraded flint was found in the alluvial gravel. No evidence of earlier in situ archaeological remains were revealed. [AIP] |
