Abstract: |
A watching brief was undertaken during the excavation of foundation trenches for a number of extensions at 28 Church Lane, Cogges, Witney. The site was located within the footprint of a known medieval fishpond, a Scheduled Ancient Monument. Observations revealed part of the bank of the fishpond and two distinct silting sequences.
