Abstract:
A watching brief was undertaken on a series of hand augered holes. A previous evaluation had identified a structure of possible medieval origin and post-medieval dumping. The bore holes were not ideal for archaeological observations and a minimum of information was obtained. The lack of defined archaeological remains suggest that, to the depth probed, much has been destroyed with the construction of the present building. [Au(abr)]
