Abstract: |
The second phase of site investigation involved the excavation of three test pits within the area of the former 'Going Places' building which fronted South Street. The site lay within Bishop's Stortford Area of Archaeological Significance (AAS No. 116) which encompassed the historic core of the town. No archaeological finds or deposits were revealed.
