Abstract: |
The evaluation excavation indicated that the town wall at this point was in a poor state of repair in the 16th century and may have been partially repaired at that time. The town wall seemed to have been reduced in height in the late17th or 18th century when the remains of it were incorporated into buildings to the north. [Au(abr)] |
