Abstract: |
An evaluation was undertaken to assess the extent of surviving archaeology within the area of a proposed housing development. The area was believed to be the site of an Anglo-Saxon cemetery discovered during 19th century railway construction. A series of linear trenches were machine excavated. No evidence of an Anglo-Saxon cemetery or any other significant archaeological features were identified. [Au] |
