Abstract: |
Archaeological recording action was carried out. Damage had been caused to part of the Scheduled Ancient Monument of Bulstrode Camp, an Iron Age hillfort. This damage was caused by a machine slot being excavated in the inner bank of the rampart, and also by topsoil stripping over the rampart. This was investigated and recorded. An area around the damage was also hand cleaned in order to look for other possible features. No further features were identified. A slight difference between the Ordnance Survey map and the topography recorded in a site survey was also identified. [Au(adp)] |
