Abstract: |
A desk based study was carried out as part of an evaluation, assessing the affect of commercial development of the area. Inclosure and Tithe Maps were examined and all recorded field names proved to be agricultural/landuse ones. It was noted that a parish boundary marker post stood in the area in the mid-19th century and a marker stone was located a little to the north. No features were located from the aerial photographs except for some detail of the World War II airfield. [Au(abr)] |
