Abstract: |
Maryport is rich in Roman and medieval finds. Also, site contains the remains of a late nineteenth century foundry partly visible through the intermittent grass cover. Therefore, it was suggested that there is a medium level of survival of archaeological remains for all periods and that any groundwork should be archaeologically monitored. [AIP] |
