The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 A watching brief monitored groundworks at two house plots on land adjacent to Church Road and Church Lane, and revealed a limited number of archaeological deposits. A gully and a ditch were continuations of features found in an evaluation in 1995 (TVAS 95/39), Roman features were discovered then. However, the lack of artefacts found during the watching brief prevented the definite dating of the new features to that period. It was clear however, that the location was not close to the core of an occupied area in Roman times. [AIP]
